Linda Allens -This is a special place where even the pickiest of eaters will be thrilled. Linda is a longtime caterer who opened up to the public several years back. Great, healthy, delicious food. The Leaning Pear – What I call girly food but man is it good. The soups are fantastic and the crab cake is the best around. Fancy sandwiches, soups, and salads along with a great selection of main course items. Great draft beer selection featuring hill country favorites. Outside dining is quiet and peaceful and inside is great on a hot summer day. From RR 12 turn on River Road (stop light) and look to your left.
Marco’s Italian Restaurant– Marco and his wife are from Italy and this is far from a pizza joint as it serves a full Italian menu, however, the pizza is exceptional. Great place for dinner. See if you can get an outdoor table. Bring a bottle of wine and enjoy. Located in the square..take the block, you will find it. Also open for lunch. 512-847-0742
Ino’z Brew and Chew – great deck overlooking Cypress Creek. On the square. Lunch and dinner. Great place to have a beer or cocktail while listening to live music on Friday and Saturday. Pub food.
Wimberley Pie Company– You name your pie, they probably make it. Try the pecan. Been here for years. mmmmmmmmmmm.enough said. On RR 12 just south of the square. 512-847-9462
Brewster’s Pizza – Owned by Bruce and Holly Collie, long time Wimberleyites. Delicious pizza, atmosphere and home of Wimberley’s first brew pub. They make their own beer along with a few guest beers.. Great place to sit out and enjoy the hill country. Drive south on RR 12 through Wimberley to the top of the hill. Look up…..you are there. Enjoy.
Kate’s Place – This is one of my favorite dinner places in Wimberley. Everything from yellowfin tuna to crab cakes to steak. Lots of fresh produce from their garden. Ask for an outdoor table and visit the cabana bar for a wonderful draft beer. The brunch on Sunday is outstanding. RR 2325 . Phone(512) 722-3744
Shamrock Tacos – in the Shamrock station on rr 12 north of the tourist area and grocery store. Try the lunch tacos…al pastor w corn tortillas…the cabo..don’t be afraid to experiment…they are all good…don’t come here for ambiance..just great tacos.
Sugar Shack Bakery – Lots and lots and lots of great things to eat here. Wonderful bakery doing all of your favorites and some you have never tried…so many sweet treats. Located on River Road off RR12 …just after the turn signal.

Middleton Brewing– Small local brewing company that does it’s own thing..and does it very well. Don’t come here looking for your favorite lite beer, this establishment is for the real brew lover..check them out. Follow RR 12 all the way south until you come to the junction..veer left on RR 12 and go two or three miles..located on RR 12…brand new building ..on the left side of the road. 512-847-3435.
Wimberley Brewing company – Wimberley’s original brew pub. Great local brewing..Bruce takes great prides in the purity (German beer laws)of his beers..try the porters and especially the Hefeweizen (wheat). good beer ..good pizza. Located at Brewsters Pizza (see restaurants) …at the junction. Full bar. Sit on the patio and enjoy the hill country view.
Kates – Small cabana located at Kates restaurant…quiet setting..five or six specially picked brews on tap…try anything from Real Ale. Restaurant is wonderful..see above.
Cypress Creek Cafe– Bar with beer garden in back…you can not hear anything but great music here..especially on the weekend. Usually two or three good beers on tap with the rest of the lites thrown in. Full bar. Located on the square.
Inoz – Best setting in Wimberley with beautiful view of Cypress Creek and music on Th, Fri and Sat… one or two local beers and then your typical variety like Zeigenbock and other national beers. Full bar. Try the Texaritas for a change of pace. On the square.
Cypress Creek Cafe Buzzard Lounge – Wimberleyites owe a debt of gratitude to the new owners of Cypress Creek Cafe for bringing live music back to Wimberley and revitalizing our square. I can guarantee that you will not hear anything but great music on a Friday or Saturday night. It might be a cover band..it might be a blues band or a reggae band but it will be very good. It’s free unless it’s someone of fame. If you are looking for fun..or if you are bummed out..come here..guaranteed to raise your spirits. Located in the back of Cypress Creek Cafe. Sit in the beer garden and come in to dance.
Inoz – The music here is good. More in the vain of folk/rock.Crosby, Stills and Nash..Dead..Beatles etc..Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Beautiful outdoor setting. On the square
