Notice that after the 2002 stock market crash we had a one year lull in our pricing, followed by increasing sales volume and price for several years. In 2007 and 2008 we have seen a significant decrease in homes sold but holding strong in Average Sales Price and Median Price. As of this writing (7/09) the better properties are still selling and bringing top value. Over priced homes,older homes and homes in need of repair are staying on the market. In my opinion it is a great time to be buying property in Wimberley. Update 3/2010 2009 brought the lowest average and median Wimberley home sales prices since 2005. Number of homes sold is lowest since 2009. Continues to look like a great time to buy while prices are low. Drcember 09 and January, February 2010 is the first time since the down turn began tht we have had 3 consecutive months of steady to higher prices with a higher number of sales.Search For Your Wimberley Property Now |
