River Oaks is located west of Wimberley about 6 miles, off Wayside Drive. This subdivision has one of the nicest Blanco River parks in the Wimberley area and is horse friendly. Homes date from the 1970's to new construction. River Oaks is a country setting and a relatively small subdivision for the area. Lot sizes are generally from 2-5 acres. Along with River Oaks other subdivisions offering larger tracts include Las Lomas, Saddleridge and Skyline Ridge Estates. Other subdivisions with Blanco River parks include Paradise Hills and Southriver.
