Long before this property became La Ventana, I would admire it on my drive from Wimberley to Austin. It was the prettiest ranch in the hill country. Now it is one of the prettiest subdivisions in the hill country. The first thing one notices is the amount of grounds that seperate the homes from Elder Hill Rd giving it a wonderful, expansive look.. Located just west of Driftwood and perched between RR 150 and RR 12 which connects Wimberley with Dripping Springs this community is truly beautiful country. La Ventana is an upscale community, complete with a variety of ammenities including gated entry, swimming pool, tennis courts and riding stables.  It is a small to medium size subdivison with one to five plus acre lots. If you like what you see at La Ventana then I suggest taking a short drive to Wimberley to see River Mountain Ranch.
